South Wales has some of the most stunning beaches abound - some with Blue Flags! probably more than anywhere else in the UK, most with car parking nearby.
Lydstep Beach Hoilday Village (just up the road from Kiln Park) with it's own beach. There is even a Smugglers Cave (not in use) which can be explored even at high tide. The beach is a Blue Flag sandy/pebbly beach, there are cliffs at one end of the beach. A slipway in the center, to cater for boat launches.
Water quality is excellent, the beach offers sailing, swimming, sub aqua, angling, canoeing, windsurfing water skiing and power boating.
The South Beach is a glorious two miles of golden sand, stretching all the waynfrom St Catherine's Island to Giltar Point. Sand dunes at the rear of the beach - leading to the the oldest established golf course in Wales.
About halfway up the beach is a small path leading directly to Kiln Park Holiday Park.
North Beach comprises a small golden stretch of sandy beach, dotted with occasional rock pools and Goskar Rock. With quick access to Tenby (by the path) this makes a great day out for the family.
This beach offers great views and facilities over Carmarthen Bay, the beach is accessed via the steps from North Cliff.
Overlooked by medieval Manorbier Castle and the 12th Century church of St James.
This beach is great for rockpooling having some great rocks which are mostly flat, with water quality "excellent". This beach makes for good swimming, canoeing and angling.
There is a cafe, in the car park are disabled toilets and a large car park.
Voted best beach in Great Britain as well as one of the top 10 beached in the world.
This really is stunning and well worth the walk from the car park. With "excellent" water quality plus a Seaside beach award this beach has no facilities just don't let that put you off!
Saundersfoot beach is a large and very popular with plenty of facilities which is overlooked by Saundersfoot it's self, accessed by a ramp next to a beach shop and a restaurant to a large car park.
There are many shops at Sandersfoot plus pubs and cafes to make a great day out all located within walking distance, - as well as plenty of ice cream kiosks.
Amroth Beach close to a charming little village - facilities include a large free car park, a beach attendant during the summer, some pubs offering food and drinks, a chip shop, and even an ice cream kiosk and cafe.
Castle Beach Tenby - lies in the small cove between Castle Hill and the East Cliff it is a sandy beach very close to Tenby it's self. At low tide it is sometimes possible to walk out to St. Catherine's Island (as seen in the photo above) and to explore the many rock pools around the cliffs.
This beach is a sandy beach, there is a pub at one end of the beach which serves food. Water quality is rated as "good" there is disabled toilets, and the beach was awarded a Seaside award. Rocks will show at low tide.
This year has been a record year for Holidays in the UK Next year is expected to be even better.
